The Relationship With Your Regional Sales Managers

The relationship you have with your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a valuable asset to the success of your career. The knowledge and expertise from your RSM will help mentor you through the beginning parts of your career and aid you in building a solid foundation in sales and product knowledge.

Through my years I have found it very fulfilling to watch the agents in my region become successful and grow their business. The relationships that have been formed through this process are some that I will cherish for a long time.

Monty Peterson, Regional Sales Manager / Front Range
Your RSM can be like a big brother, always looking out for you, but also pushing you to be better and better. With so much to learn, it's important to have a strong supporting cast to help you obtain the knowledge and develop your skills in the industry.

The agents that work for Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance (CFBI) are a special group of people. They are strong in character, trustworthy individuals who want only the best for their members. They are knowledgeable in their industry, and studious to keep themselves up to date on industry changes. These are just a few of the traits that make our agency force successful.

At CFBI we know that our agency force is the strength of our company. If you are chosen to be a part of this wonderful family, know that you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself. We offer our agents so much training and knowledge to prepare them, and keep them up to date. The mentoring process is on going. We don't hire and throw you to the wolves, we shelter you and encourage you to be successful with solid practice and expertise in product and industry knowledge.

As a RSM I will encourage and motive you to be successful. I will meet with you often to discuss your goals and needs, just like you will do when you meet with our members discussing their insurance needs and financial goals. I will help you obtain the necessary licenses, and any additional education that I feel will aid in starting and continuing your business.

Remember I am always here to support and encourage you, but also to keep you safe by validating your efforts, and making sure you're following the industry laws and rules set by CFBI.

This is our company motto, our tag line, and it applies to both our members and to our fellow colleagues. We are a family, and we help each other to success.
