| Daily Duties |

Inspect all adjuster and vendor written estimates on property and automated claims. |
| □ |
Investigate auto accidents, to include evaluation of police reports. |
| □ |
Interview persons with knowledge regarding losses, to include securing statements. |
| □ |
Report on all claims over 30 days. |
| □ |
Negotiate loss settlements with insureds, claimants and attorneys and secure releases. |
| □ |
Confirm and learn to interpret policy coverage. |
| □ |
Learn subrogation principles. |
| □ |
Develop a working knowledge of the Cliams Manual |
| □ |
Negotiate fair settlements on all claims with direct supervision. |
| □ |
Assist in claims department as needed. |

Attend company claim meetings when conducted. |

Participate in company claim seminars when requested. |

Learn the data processing system for claims on a general level. |

| Desired Education and Experience |

Four year B.A. or B.S. degree or four years of experience in field claims handling |
