Our Farming & Ranching Roots
Colorado Farm Bureau, a non-profit, non-partisan farm organization active in the legislative and regulatory process of farming and ranching issues, recognized that Colorado farmers and ranchers needed quality, affordable insurance.

In 1950 Colorado Farm Bureau founded Colorado Farm Mutual Casualty Company in an effort to provide farmers and ranchers with affordable insurance. In 1953 Colorado Farm Bureau Mutual Fire Insurance Company was chartered to provide property insurance. In 1956 both entities merged to form Colorado Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company. The new entity enabled farmers and ranchers to not only protect their farming and ranching operations, but also to insure their homes and autos.

Today, Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance serves more Colorado farmers and ranchers than any other insurance company.

Our agents' farming/ranching expertise and our Country Squire package policies provide total coverage for livestock, outbuildings, equipment, home and auto.
